No idea, I'm kind of a "get out the map the morning I'm leaving guy", (drives Dave crazy, he plans every day's riding 6 months ahead, Felix and Oscar, @1olbull , lol), I'm flexible. 9 hrs 45 minutes from my house, according to Google maps, long day for an old man, but saves a motel room if we do it in one day. Again, I'm flexible, depending what @TO rocket thinks, we could do 2 days down. Hopefully he and anyone with him can come down to my house the day before and spend the night and get an early start.

Just to clarify - I lead many group rides that require advanced planning for smooth operation.
My own rides adhere to rule #1:
No planning more than 15 minutes ahead of my front wheel!
