Let me tell you guys that this is my home area and I know every one of these roads around here and these are the cream of the crop. Your host are putting on the best show you could have hoped for. There will be nothing new, as far as roads go, for me but the company and meeting you all will be the entertainment for me. Oh actually visiting the Devils Bathtub will be new as I have never taken the time to walk in and see it.

Adding on to what DrD was getting to, is how much of a hike is it to the bathtub, the many times I have been to Clingsmans Dome with RAA riders I can count on one hand how many could /or wanted to hike all the way up to it.
If it a long hike to see the bathtub some might not be interested.

Ok y'all if we do the devil's bathtub it is 31/2 hours from the motel each way. If you are up for that on Friday we can do that. Y'all vote on which you want. Devil's bathtub on Friday and reapers rides on Saturday. Or reapers ride Saturday and devil's bathtub Sunday. If we do the bathtub Sunday then Friday we will do aces and eights or copperhead trail
My vote is Devils Bathtub on Sunday. That trip is 300 mile round trip from Stearns and back. My experience is that it is a very full day riding with a large group. I will have to cut off in Middlesboro and that will be the end of the weekend for me as I have to be at work at 9:00 am Monday morning.

The whole trail is seven MILES.:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll: I ain't doing that. The actual Tub area is 1.5 miles each way for a total of three miles that may involve crossing creeks without bridges and water wading.:(:(:(

I might be easier to just look at the pictures online and call it done.;););)

I know. Like I said. Leave it up for a vote. In May I'm sure the water will be high due to spring rains. Also the parking for so many bikes will be sketchy. Doc you know the area better than anyone so put in your feelings on this. Also it looks like we have you as another road captain:roll::roll::roll:
