So, I've had some good folks PM me with a request to participate in bringing some meat (For the smoker, Jim......Scott)

I am bringing meat in a cooler that has already been prepped, dry rubbed, marinated, ect (ribs & pork butt steaks)- I don't think that we will have time to do much meat prep while in Stearns, so if anyone wants to bring some meat from the local stores I think we should keep it simple such as burgers, bratwurst, sausage, more pork butt steaks (most bang for the buck), ect so that it can go from the package to the smoker. Also, I'm bringing a barrel smoker, but it's not huge so that will also take more time to get all of the meat cooked
I think Eric is bringing his Brinkman barrel smoker so that will help!

I will bring some extra meat spices that we can shake on the meat with out needing time to set in.
@sweettennbabe - are there some local full size grocery stores near there to but meat? also some pre-made (God forbid) "other than meat" products like beans, tater salad, ect
And, are there any local Beer/Whiskey stores near????
