Head count for raa east 2018

I'm working on it. The biggest problem would be if I had the room next to the Polack and the Scotsman. I think all the oinking and squealing would keep me awake all night!
Oops! I had to edit this as I forgot to put a smiley in there and I know how sensitive Dave is.

I''l be there on the 16 depart on the 21st or so if I decide to stay longer who knows. Might leave a couple days early and take the back roads there.

Spotted this nice piece of road coming out of Appalachia Virginia towards Cumberland that is telling me to try it out

What an eye for road selection. That is one our day rides and it is what it looks like. The pavement going north on 160 down hill to Cumberland is a bit rough and needs extra care. That 606/68 through Exeter into Appalachia is dreamy with the most elegant banked corners and rivals the Tail of the Dragon for driving pleasure.

I'm a quarter Irish on my Mother's side and my daughter is a quarter Scottish, her grandfather moved from Tyneside to work in the shipyards in Burntisland before immigrating to Canada to work in St. Johns Irving shipyards. The only scotch in me is single malt.
I'm 99% sure I'll be there with Peggy.

Ya it looks like three ways out of Cumberland of which if I had my choice I like the looks of 1679 out of hurricane gap
