Hard on wear items

Bull,

The staples are where the scalp was cut by the surgeon. They literally peeled the scalp down past his eyes. The other method is an incision on the eyebrow, to hide the scar. They needed more room to work though.

Sorry I was so obtuse!
Thanks!

$hit, I haven't seen that word in years!!!

Well you haven't remembered it since you put your corno 'sperm advert' gold disco necklace away.

I knew you never read half the posts people make, before replying.;):p:roll::roll::roll::roll::rolleyes::whitstling::whitstling::whitstling:

Yesterday:
Go Fast, Legally!!
Well, YOU said "- the sword is now a dull pocket knife". Just being helpful to a mate in need;):p:D
It must be suitable Benjamin Franklin's description fits the bill doesn't it? My elephant memory remembers you skiting a year or so ago about your Gigolo reputation - you big Lothario you! ;):p:D
btw Susan White the promotor is no relative despite my sister of the same name.

Aaaahhh memories :p
front tires

And here I was imagining 'successfully' was the growing number of notches for 'scores' on your so evocatively 'disco' gold medallion displayed on that naked chest framed by those super wide lapels of your nylon body shirt.:p:D

DAMMM!
Were you there too?
Actually twas a large gold Corno and chain around my neck.
You got the shirt to the T - BUT forgot the white leather shoes and wide white belt!
You musta been a Disco Dude yourself!?!?

Sperm on a chain ehh! Advertising!:roll::roll:

Luckily disco was well on its way out when my carousing days began, just saw it on the TV.[/QUOTE

The vid is pretty misleading though and NOTHING at all like reality or the CE testing procedure! Who gets dragged around for minutes and kilometres unless you are a victim of some psycho. Most bike riders in a get-off even at speed slide to a stop within 100metres after hitting the ground not 2000!
I don't think anybody says its supposed to be real world. As for CE testing - I've seen some CE "protectors" that frankly I'd not want to test out. Most are JUST CE-1. Not many are CE-2. And those that are it's even rarer for them to be grade 2 in hot climates. Much like everything - You get what you are prepared to pay for.

My new riding gear.
Kevlar lined of course.

Yep agreed a lot of the CE marked stuff has never seen a test and never will. The tested CE 1 stuff is also fairly low spec compared to CE 2.

Many good links and wise words of caution here:
CE Certified vs. Approved - webBikeWorld

I read up on it a little and bought CE 2 stuff from recognised manufacturers and reputable dealers.

Some of my better jackets came with CE1 Knox branded stuff but with a weird blood condition I have, any major trauma, abrasion or internal bruising will cause me to bleed out, either inside or out. The CE 2 won't save me from a big one but may make a difference on a light get off.

So I got all CE level 2 stuff from Get Geared UK. Great service and prices with a full refund for over-ordered items following their original incorrect advice to my direct query in an email and unclear listing descriptions that none of these besides the back-protector came in pairs. After 2 pairs of each showed up I contacted them and they refunded all doubled up items without seeking their return. :D:thumbsup:.

They have since taken my advice and amended their listings to match all the other items that were clearly marked as 'pairs'.
I bought the stuff with the most ventilation and design/material reputation as possible.
The Seesoft back protector was a little long and bulky so I picked up a D3O version that may fit a range of my jackets better.

Rev It! Seeflex Shoulder Protector - RV16 £16.66
Rev It! Seeflex Elbow Knee Protector - RV10 £20.83
Rev It! Seeflex Elbow Protector - RV15 £16.66
Rev It! Seesoft RV Lev-2 Back Insert 3-6XL £24.99
Alpinestars Nucleon KR-HR Hip Protector - Black White £27.49.

and from another UK eBay store a D3O CE 2 Back protector £24.99 + £3.95 postage to Oz :)

1) "And here I was imagining 'successfully' was the growing number of notches for 'scores' on your so evocatively 'disco' gold medallion displayed on that naked chest framed by those super wide lapels of your nylon body shirt."
Still surprised how the heck you knew that I had a large gold corno in the early 70s!!!
2) RE: "I knew you never read half the posts people make, before replying."
What happens is: I read a post in a thread that inclines me to respond, I am yet unaware of all the following posts which may repeat or trash mine.
3) I reckon it to be Betty White you are related to . . .
4) Your multi-references to "sperm" about the neck appear to unmask and reveal your latent homo tendencies!  :p

Zat looks to be @HansO ?? :p
I've seen those feet!!!
Oh, the humanity!
Nah my Feet look better than that and the Gator (shin protectors) are not my style I prefer Camo, not to mention that guy hs way hairier legs than me :p:p:p
