handlebars ?

Problem I have with the stock bars is the bend at the grips. Twist my wrist into an uncomfortable position. Raising or lowering will not change the angle. Does anyone actually make bars for the rocket or do I have to make my owN?

Exactly the same for me Willie. I tried angling the bars up, but that made the wrist angle even more uncomfortable. I ended up getting a set of 1.25 Burleigh Bars 10" mini apes. (Same as i used on the Vulcan 2000.) These are less angled and a little wider (39") and put your wrists in a better position. They worked just as well for me on the Rocket touring as they did on the Vulcan. They are Aussie, but I believe they ship to the USofA if you can't find a local manufacturer. They make bars for the Rocket.

ps My Highway bars have just arrived along with my 6" over replacement windscreen, so i might finally be able to get my 6'7" frame comfortable on trips over 2 hours.

BigWille, in the upper right hand corner of the post reply box/screen there is a box that looks like this.

Click it and it'll spell check. The first time you do it, it may take you to a page to download the program. It is safe to download and run.

I'm having the rivco risers installed tomorrow. I've already replaced the stock shield with the taller Roadster screen. Tomorrow, I should be able to cross my legs, steering with one foot, whilst clipping dish washing coupons out of the local paper at 75mph.

I'm right at six foot on my tip toes and I added Rivco risers to my 07 Rocket III and it really aided in the reach and the angle of the wrist after adjustment. I also have the Corbin touring seat with a backrest so the risers added a little extra length so I could lay back on the backrest and ride comfy all day long. I tried a set of Harley bars I had laying around for a Springer and didn't like them as they were too narrow and went back to the stock Rocket bars after a few days of riding.
