Handle bars on 2010 Classic.

@Fozzie
@Bunny Burrell

I travel over to Wroxham pretty regularly so could maybe assist somehow, as Fozzie is based approximately between my home and Wroxham.
Just a thought.
Thanks all problem sorted I have a set of original R111 bars winging their way as we speak. I had to get it sorted quickly, but thanks again.

Ishrub could you help me with some research? I don't want to make another mistake trying to buy one of these handlebars. You have any part numbers that correspond to the Standard of the Classic bars you refer to? Better yet, you don't happen to have one left over from you part hoarding days?

I have a set of std bars off a 2008 but they are easy to source locally usually or from fellow forum members near you.

Do a search of the forum for Classic handlebars posted by Ishrub and voilà:

R3 Classic 2006-2009 bars (Part No. T2043580)
You may want the R3 Classic 2006-2009 bars (Part No. T2043580) with more pull back then and many also fit these with RIVCO risers for even more pull back.

You will not be able to get from dealers as long sold out - wreckers and resellers only.

Cheaper now though is a pair of @chandelierman T bars he lists here and on Facebook

A good parts reference for USA Triumph is Hermes

I’ve just got a standard handlebar off Just Rockets in Spalding, perfect for me, the bars that my R111 had on, were from a Touring and felt just weird riding it. Thanks for the info, but all sorted now.

Thanks for the info Ishrub. I recently got a T2043580 from Hermy's, and yeah the pullback...
It's too much. Too extreme an angle on the wrists. It looks like exactly what's already on my 2011 touring. I'm going to send it back for refund.
I want to try something with less pullback to ease the wrist angle. If I can find something like that, I'll use it in combination with the Rivco risers I got from Jay.

I'll keep looking for the "standard"... I'll also take a look at the T bars from Chandelierman.

I might also look into "Just Rockets", where Bunny Burrell got a standard. It's UK though so shipping will be high.

I actually just found one off the Just Rockets website, but why does it say "Fits all years except Touring"?

Because the R3Touring is a different model entirely and not stock for that model.

The Std and Roadster handlebars

Too much to post

The Classic bars kit parts and longer cables.
Fowlers may still have access to the Classic bars without the complete kit. - worth a try.

OK Thanks again for the info Ishrub.

I think T204539 was superseded by T2043580, but they are the same thing. That's what the guy at Hermy's said. And that geometry looks identical to what came stock on my 2011 Touring. So I don't think that's the solution.

I think I need to get the standard, and be prepared to solve cable length problems.

YEP... spot on!

This is the best Triumph parts finder from an Aussie dealer as it has interactive automated links to the images and further notes re VIN matching parts etc.
