Hmmm, I forget about sitting in traffic. Doesn't really happen here. Can see that a radio might be nice in that case but I'm normally just working out if I have time to get to the front before the lights change.
I'm still not used to the traffic here on the east coast, some things about it just don't make any sense to me.
The people sit in traffic every work day morning and evening ... what really confuses me is that they sit in traffic weekends just to swap states on the way to the beach. LOL
Personally, I like jumping on my Rocket, cranking up my Satellite radio and Rumble Road speakers, and cruising around town. What's wrong with listening to some tunes while riding? When I want "quiet time", I simply flip the switch and away goes the music...just left with the sound of the bike.
And to answer Captain Jack about how slow you have to go to hear the stereo....not very. I can cruise at 80 MPH and hear the tunes just fine.
Never quite understood the dislike of a stereo on a cruiser. On a ****** rocket, I get it...but on a cruiser? Just a matter of personal preference I guess.
I like how these look the best. Do you know anyone who has them, are they as loud as the others mention on this post? For me they match my Rocket more so I would like to order some if the perform well....
Personally since they are only rated at 50 Watts...I think on the highway they are going to get overcome by wind noise...in town...they are probably okay.
Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen, Amen,Amen, Amen. Is that enough, you can have more if you need them. Must be one hell of a ride to need more than that.
