Handle Bar Speaker Systems

Go for the amplified Rumble Road speakers. I have them on my 06' Rocket, and prior to that had them on my Vulcan 1600. The amp is integrated into the speaker housings, so there is no external amp to worry about. They are LOUD, sound great, and easy to install. If you search the web and read reviews, I think you will find that they have the best ratings and reviews of any of the handlebar or bag mount systems. I've had mine now for 7 years, and have had no problems with them whatsoever. Kit is very clean, well made, and again....sounds great. This is what you are looking for... Have found some real good deals on the Shark systems that look like Mexican's. You can basicaly go as big and spend as much as you'd like. Dont worry about 'lecturing me" I appreciate all the advice. I had forgotten some of the points you have all helped with! Mex, may send you a message when I start hooking everything up. Looked at my bike and think it will look and work great! Thanks again!

To Mully, Scot and Canberra...yeah, yeah, yeah...yadda, yadda, yadda...whatever. I've been on plenty of long trips, some with a stereo and a lot without one and I way prefer to have the "option" of turning on some tunes for my own personal enjoyment to break up the trip somewhat. I do enjoy periods of silence but after 400 to 800 miles at a time I start wishing the trip would go just a little faster and usually turning on a "good" stereo hits the mark.

Personal preference and all...I like having the option.
