Had no choice......

Geeeezzz..... You're a catch..... Hahaha.

Emu oil, arnica and a bottle of cognac. Every time i break, rip or dislocate something works a treat!

Celebrex and a 325 mg coated aspirin every morning, and a 7.5/300 Vicoden and 10mg Flexeril every evening (plus assorted other stuff).

When things get bad it's the V&F four times a day.

Along with the low back nerve burns twice a year, I get by OK.

Been doing that for 11+ years now and the quarterly blood work says everything's doing OK.

I have tried herbal anti inflammatories with only limited affects short term effect (they seemed to lose their effects after six months use) I am on two celebrex a day with my back up of Endone on a bad day

What dose Celebrex, HansO?
This three day ride was a try to gut it without Celebrex.
Not again! I feel way worse than after my 6 week, 11,500 mile ride last summer.

Saw my OS Thursday. He is about 6 months out. They wont even book me until the first of the year. They tried to steer me to some of the other surgeons but I held tight. This guy is well worth the wait. Now the process begins. I need to drop at least 50 lbs so I wont be at a higher risk point during the surgery. I have to get clearance from my primary care doctor then go back in 8 weeks to see the surgeon. I may be able to get booked then. A visit with a cardiologist and various blood tests plus pre-op visits will come thereafter. All this for the joy of going through intense pain for a few weeks. But there is a bright side. I should be back on the bike by late spring with very little pain and I can get reacquainted with my old friends, OXY and HYDRO for a little while at least.

I know that all here wish you a successful outcome, 1 BD. Living with chronic pain is no picnic and being debilitated by it is even worse.

Rest assured that you'll get all the handholding, support and assurance possible here when the time come!

Great news Peter. What were/are your ailments? I wish I could function without having to take hydrocodone.
