I'm IN!!! But, I want it NOW!!!

I love doing wheelies BUT.... I have found, more power can get in the way of raising the wheel!?!?!? Along with the Nev cams, I'm running a 245 Cooper and it lites it up without even using the clutch in low. It takes a delicate touch to keep from losing traction and having it hook up to raise up the front wheel. Then, it is even more delicate to keep it from coming up too high

But..... like Tim the Tool-man says.... MORE POWER!!!!!

I WANT ONE!:D

Presumably you're running Nev's tune with his drop-in cams (installed with TuneBoy). If that's the case, your timing and secondaries are already optimized for your engine. Adding the GI-Pro on top will just fook up Nev's optimized timing for his cams. If you're not running Nev's tune with his cams, adding GI-Pro will not give you nearly what his tune will (so get TuneBoy and drop in Nev's tune)! Funny the GI-Pro experts here (and there) didn't tell you that.

What tune are you using? Didn't you copy tables from another tune into the stock tune for TORs? Tuneboy leaves it up to the user to increase the speed and rev limits, for obvious reasons.

This is the Tune I am using: Link Removed

I honestly have only had Tuneboy for a week, so I'm don't even know what the tables mean at this point.

This is the Tune from the Trading Tunes for R3T Sticky. Link Removed The link on my last post didn't seem to work.

OK, I see from the sticky that this tune is based on something Wayne supplied for the R3T. It says it's for aftermarket exhaust with D&D mufflers. Does thismean it has a cat bypass? You have the TORs. Do you also have a cat bypass? It also says it's for the K&N drop in filter. You have triple filters, which should be freer flowing and should require more fuel in the fuel tables. This tune has the secondaries open 100%. It won't let me change the rev or speed limits, as Pig9r noted.

That's odd. This is directly from Pig9r's post:

From Wayne at Tuneboy:

Tune based on R3T, TORS, triple Tuneboy pod filters. Dyno'd at 138/150.

Since I am running an R3T with TORS and Triple pod filters, it looked like the right one. Is the description wrong?

The only thing I know about a tuneboy is that it requires a laptop and a degree from MIT.
I went with a PCIII, GiPro and bolt on hardware, this way I can turn them off or take them off if something goes wrong or I sell it. Everything returns to factory settings.

I can see how this would be is frustrating for you. I see how Pig9r describes this tune.

My post was based on the edit notes in the tune:

Rocket III Touring
Aftermarket Exhaust
D&D pipes
K&N replacement filter and snorkel removed from under seat.

I don't know what's going on. Maybe Pig9r can help. Usually, when Wayne at Tuneboy sends out a tune, he puts the right intake and exhaust setup in the edit notes.

Assuming the tune is correct, how is it running? For less than $50, you can take it to a reputable dyno tuner and have it tested to make sure the A/F is OK.

Hombre, can you not sign in under your other username? Something we can fix on our end?

Anyway, I think he is just running a PCIII. Nev's tune actually resulted in a drop in HP for me.

If I remember correctly, that tune was one that Wayne modified for GPMAZ. I looked at the Tuneboy site and Wayne only posts one modified tune for the R3T and it isn't this one.

With triple filters on, I would get a dyno tune anyway. It would be money well spent.

Maybe GPMAZ can fill us in as I think I got the R3T tunes from him.

EDIT: From one of GPMAZ's posts:

For the R3T there are a few proven tunes available. Besides the stock tune, and the 20235 TORS tune, there is a modified 20235 tune that is suitable for TORS (or D&Ds) and the drop in K&N. That tune will net you around 117/138 at the rear wheels. There's also a tune available for the triple K&Ns that will net you around 138/150.

So I will defer to him.

Yes that's the one. Its running great actually except right now I'm stuck at work with a dead battery at 29F degrees.
