Greetings from Ukraine.

Surprisingly - Found Kraken in a place in Barcelona. Rumbullion easy enough in the UK.

Kraken is also from my home originally. So has to be tried. Thanks for the advise.

Have you tried Navy rums with coastal coconut water (slightly salty) and just a dash of fresh squeezed Lime (I use 1/2 lime)? Sort of like Caribbean Grog.

The only rum I truly like is Pussers, the official rum of the Royal Navy. I found some on the shelf in Annapolis Maryland but have not found any here in Washington. I ordered two bottles a couple of years back from one of our mega liquor stores. One was for me and the other for the re-christening of a friends sailboat. No we didn't bash it across the bow. Rum was part of the ceremony though and there is no better rum for a nautical ceremony than Pussers.

Haven't tried this. First of all, we don't have coastal coconut water here. Second of all, I believe good spirits need to be enjoyed straight. I really can't force myself to use anything great for mixed drinks.

Apparently, some of my friends didn't have a problem with this. Found an empty bottle of Glenlivet 18 y/o and numerous glasses with coke and whisky untouched the morning after my birthday party. Bastards.

I have always, at least since I first tasted it, been under the impression that Pussers was intended by The Royal Navy to be a punishment and not a reward, Mike. That bilious booze tastes like used diesel oil to me.

On the other hand, these rye whiskeys get my seal of approval...

Hell I have drank all over the world. Everything form corn down in Pittsburgh county in Oklahoma to fancy #hit world wide. Still will take good old shine. Goes down smooth and bites back. When I want to BRING ON A GOOD ONE there ain't no label on the Jar. Just my two cents.:sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:
