Actually ..... No. Was driving a ute. Had his dog in the passenger seat. He said his dog started drinking out of his cup. He looked down to get the cup away from the dog and when he looked up the traffic was stopped in front of him. Driver was on a provisional licence ... Not that you'd know it from looking at the vehicle.

You've got Buckley's chance of all the parts being here in Australia mate .. from my experience anyway. 40 item list of parts after my crash. Triumph Australia had 6 of them in stock. Good idea about the exhaust .. if not damaged I'd be damaging it pronto.

Yeh, that's my feeling too. Having Christmas and New Year in the middle doesn't help that either. I "recently" ordered a replacement tank prop. None in Australia. 6 weeks estimate to arrive from Triumph. It finally arrived 12 weeks after ordering it.

Bike got towed directly to the bike shop. Might be difficult/impossible to physically influence the status of any parts.

Good you are ok Craig, sux about the bike. If it is a total loss, maybe buy back that engine and drop it in a Smart car just for giggles...

I know plenty of people who want to use it as an upgrade for their own car. When you own a 2.3 litre bike it's amazing how many people with sub-2litre cars come out of the woodwork.

Craig keep us updated on what actually is needed to get your bike back on the road. Between the lot of us we've just about got a couple of Rockets in parts. I know having access to parts has kept my bike on the road while the slow boat from UK made it's way here.

That sucks, but I am glad you are both all right. Hopefully the insurance does the right thing and you get back on the road quickly.

Let us know what you need and maybe we can help source on this side of the pond...of course US dealers don't keep a lot on hand either, but maybe a stateside captain will have the critical part. BTW...it the pipes are damaged AT ALL I would DEMAND a new set and then quietly suggest they have a chat to CES.
