Good God that's a beautiful bike!

Another superb bike (1986) I sadly no longer own......The good news is that I sold it to a friend of mine locally, so I can borrow it if I feel the need to get a V4 fix....

I once sold, bought back and resold a CB 900 to a buddy like that. We should have just opted for joint custody and not paid the tax and license, over and over.

Thanks Brodrock :) ........Garage door envy.......is that a thing? ;)
It Is! When you have barn garage horizontal sliders like mine! (hopefully I can get a pic attached). The wife's is slightly more upscale. She even has an opener! And it's not me.

Meanwhile...on the other side of the fence...I envy folk not needing to spend several summer weekends every other year, sanding and re-varnishing their garage doors and instead, are out on their bikes having fun in the sunshine........yeah, I know i'm a martyr.
I fitted them to the house new in 2006. I'm hoping that these doors will last me out ;)

Have you tried blasting with walnut shells or dry ice? Apparently environmentally friendly, not terribly expensive, in U.S., and Wwwaaaay faster than sanding. Betting it could be a 2 weekend project. Maybe 3 day weekend project.

@Tripps I think they call that an eclectic collection. A bike for every occasion or mood.
Cat on a Rocket. Not sure which looks meaner. The cat or the Rocket.....:D

I'm a one bike guy these days. Not that i've ever owned any significant number of them at the same time. I think five bikes were my biggest collection, but back then I have to confess that two of them belonged to my wife, but still....it looked impressive ;).

There was a time when we didn't own a garage so we could afford more bikes (ain't that the way...)
Here's an old photo from when we went all Italian, the missus & I....

I only buy, I never sell. 😉
Realistically, I should pare them down, I don't ride like I used to especially not cross country. But for me, it's like choosing which one of your children to get rid of, ya know? And they've all gotten older, it's not like there is much money tied up any more.
