Good bye Darkside

Did some homework on the Michelin Scorcher II before purchase. Yes it is made for Harley Davidson. It is the same tire they use on the V-Rod and some of the sport 1200. Michelin makes a Scorcher 31 and 32 for the touring bikes and cruisers. Tire has very few reviews but has been sold as a stock tire on respected bikes for a few years. It is not designed as a touring or cruiser tire but more or less a sport tire. Taking the advice from some members on here decided to go with a 140/75R17 for better handling. Saw the Scorcher II and figured why not. The Exedra Max was a no brainier. When I receive the tires and get them mounted believe me i will come back with a honest opinion. If it works out and handles well then wild card shot worked if not then I am out $157.00 dollars. Just food for thought tried a set of Pirelli Night Dragons on the Harley once and it was by far the worse set of tires I have ever purchased. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Interested to know what you ran for the dark side? Like mc tires, car tires can and do handle differently.
I'm on the Goodyear Advantage Tripletread. I had the oppertunity to try one gor about 250 miles before I bought one. Had it on my last 4 bikes. Two Suzuki vl1500's and 2 r3t's. I've racked up over 70k on them.
I used to live in Az, so been on a few twisties on them. On the suzuki's I could get both sides down just about any time I wanted. Scared the wife a few times!
I even got "spark close" on my first r3t a couple of times. She's much taller than the suzuki though, so I'm not quit as brave (plus, I'm 9 years older and smarter). Besides, not as many twisties here in Fl. and definately not as many mts.!

I see you have a 1967 Yamaha 100. Would that be a twin jet ? Always liked those. Worked on one a few times in my youth
