Goldwing is out

Left early for work and met up at the local Honda shop to test ride a 2019 Goldwing. Forget it. Way to many buttons and gizmos. Sat there for over 15 minutes going over all the controls. Never did figure it all out. Took off and dam$ near got ran over. No get up and go. Very disappointed. Figured I"ll throw the towel end and just rebuild the Harley. I flat give up on the New Bikes. Sport or full dressers they are all with so many faults that it is ridiculous. Nothing fits. Floor boards or pegs in the wrong spot. Handle bars position sucks. Man what are the bike manufactures building? Am six foot and average build and so far every bike i have test road just flat out sucks. $uck it. Rebuild the Harley and be happy. No traction control,No ABS, No sport mode, No rain control(What ever the $uck that is)no radar #hit that tells me i got lost again and the hole dam$ thing has convinced me that all you really need is a strong motor and set of Balls. Did not like the fairing and the windshield either. Fancy shock system Fuc$ it. It is a bike for crown out loud not a fuc%ing Cadillac. What the Fuc%. Who the Hel$ cares if it smooth while your getting run over by a Fuc4ing Toyota. Don't think I"ll ever get a job as a new bike review person but they can have it. Done with it.
YEP exactly what I think about the WING

There are quite a few brand new leftover 2017 Rlll touring for sale on the web. I would think you would be able to steel one for a good price!!

The new Valkyrie Is striped down pretty good, tuned differently and handles real nice, but ugly as $hit!!

The guy is just trying to sell a motorcycle and in the end you’re the guy who went in there and asked for a test ride, telling him to shove his accessories up his a$$ and flipping him off seems a bit excessive.......... No?

As with all advertising on motorcycles, they 'sell a dream', they create an illusion that sucks you in. Once you are confronted with the reality of the product, your views may change. The Goldwing has always been, and always will be, designed to be the ultimate in a luxury cruising motorcycle. Been there, done that on both the 1500 and 1800. They are not designed to be spectacularly fast, or quick through the corners, or outstanding in any other area than comfort. There is a 'class' of person who buys one. I joined the Goldwing Owners club GB for a year. This shattered any and all illusions I may have anticipated of the camaraderie and indeed the bike itself. The bike was a pleasure to ride. Comfy, willing to go, not too bad on the MPG, insurance (UK thingy) was cheap! Parts???? Second mortgage or/and an organ sale was needed. As for the owners...what a pretentious, pathetic, money grubbing, social climbing bunch of wankers! But that's another story! The bike was more than capable but was NOT awe inspiring in any way, it didn't have the character and spirit that the Rocket has. It is just a plain 'Jane' and is a capable machine in any area but not exceptional except trying to park the B'stard. You needed that reverse gear!!
Just my honest impression of the bike and what its for!!

Not really. The individual sized me up. Figured i was just looking. From his conversation figure he thought i could not afford such a bike. He continued to work me towards a less expensive model. I was looking at the touring model with the complete upgrade package. Touring seat, vent in windshield among other upgrades. Total sticker price over $32,000 dollars. When i had enough of his cra# walked over to the Rocket X and inserted the key. Looked back and that i think is when he realized the other vehicle in the lot was not mine. A pick up that had seen better days. For those that have met me in person have realize am not very political correct or very good at communication skills. Social handicapped but not stupid. Sorry but you posted while i was still typing. You said it better than I. Poor bastar$ did not realize i could pay cash up front for the bike.
