GI Pro finally installed!

I don't beleive they come with any mounting hardware, at least mine didn't...I ended up using the horn mount bracket from my Valkyrie, and it worked out great...This is where you get creative.. ;) Larry

The only mounting hardware that comes with it is a couple strips of velcro with sticky backs on them. Actually works pretty well when mounted on the handle bars in the center on the touring......:D

I'm not sure of the difference between the touring and standard/classic/roadster when it comes to the space between the gauges, but if it has the chrome plastic cover over the gauge bolts between them it's a perfect place to mount. I just removed the plastic cover and used the velcro to mount it, I like it because it's only visible to me, it can't be seen unless you are sitting on the bike.

I am a rocket virgin. I have owned a 2012 R3T for 5 days now and I love it. I have fitted some TORS and the gi Pro w/atre. I have tried a few settings on it this morning and love the acceleration difference.

My question for all you more experienced rocket riders on here.

What number setting for the ATRE donyou think is the best for the touring model.

Thanks.

Hey bud this is an old thread.
Gi pro is kinda obsolete now that TUNE ECU is here. So the gi pro is only needed for gear indicating. They have a cheaper model that does just that.

Do a little searching for TUNE ECU under the search function and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Welcome to the club!!

OK. Thank you.

For some reason unknown, my gear indicator is sometimes slow at responding to fast acceleration. Well not actually fast acceleration but for changing gears up really fast. Does not want to keep up. Sometimes needs to re-start the bike to get the gear indicator kind of re-calibrated. Any ideas or is it just starting to be ready to be replaced??

Edit: Ok, I´ll just have to reset the indicator again to get it to run right. Should not be too difficult and worth to try instead of replacing the unit.
