EXACTLY what I was thinking, except the part about building the motor. A true rat bike in every sense. It's got the basics.

Oh I did - I put chrome bits back on yesterday. I'm brave, me!
I wish I could justify a second R3 (or more likely - something else) to me, Pete - but I simply cannot. Not unless I mothball the Guzzi.
It's the time and effort more than the money.

I ride all my bikes once a week - With two exceptions. SNOW and ICE.
When I had the Buell as well it felt as if it was a chore and I always seemed to have one bike in bits (sometimes I think it was to avoid using one).
