I saw a touring rocket bottom at the shop where I had my roadster fixed and the wrench showed me the bottom if he would have had a spring loaded spigot he would have had a major oil leak as the fins on his motor bottom were shaved badly
 
Sounds like a big NO THANKS to this idea!
 
i vote no. Not even the ones that like to be different r not going to touch this one
 
I have seen these on some 60/70's Land Yachts (big Dodge and Chryslers) but I would not do it on a bike unless it was under a skid plate.
