The reason I asked about getting the light to come on later is that I have done 215 mi. on a tank and not run out. It still had about .6 gal left. I just don't like the light on when there's 3 gallons left in the stupid thing. I'd like for it to come on at about 175 mi. Everyone I ride with has to stop at 140 to 150 mi. I'd like not to see the light that early.

The light is a useless peice of crap, glowing away in your face "Look at me I,m useless as tits on a bull, pocket on a teashirt but at least I glow heaps so you can,t keep your eyes off me!!"

Dealer did mine....2 times....still comes on with around 2 gal. left. Just use the light to remember to check the trip-o-meter.

Its a simple float device , if the gauge works off the same unit , is as useless as the warning light itself . I now work off the trip only . :?
