Poor ol' Gramp's is in a minority,it seems-----I'm a bit of a chromaholic---Well , on the Classic anyways..
If I did go for Black, I'd be like some others, I'd black it completely and abandon all chrome, like Lonnie's done.

Georg, sorry for the hijack.........
Steve,
I used a bottom mount for a single pillion seat, then just made some mounts that go down from the rear of the rack to some drilled and tapped holes located in the frame under the rear fender strut covers. I did have to trim the strut covers slightly. If you want I can make the rack and let you fab up some mounts??????
Let's communicate by PM, (conversation), about this out of respect for the OP.;)
Lonnie

Agreed!
My apologies to @my06rocket!!!

Well this thread has really exploded, hasn't it. Love Lonnie's M109 conversion, will definitely look into doing that once I can find a cheap Suzuki fender on eBay and figure out what this "boss" thing that needs trimming is :)

Finally found a cheap M109R fender on eBay. Going to follow in Lonnie's footsteps, right before the riding season starts up again.

My plastic piece is a little loose and it rattles. I tried to reach inside the fender to try to see what size bolt it uses...very tight space with the front tire installed but it did not seem to be a bolt but rather some sort of a plastic snap in piece? Is that right?
that's right

The stock silver trim on the front fender is bugging me... anybody know a good aftermarket part without it?

I am planning to add to my front fender a chromed winged W English Wolseley hood ornament having WHITE as my surname it seems appropriate. I have blacked out the 'W' to fit my black Roadster but may revert to red.

Uncle Kiwi took his sweetheart everywhere, I guess.

You had better mark this as sold Dave. I forgot that I saw it here as well as Gumtree and have been watching it for a month or more before deciding it will go great with my Wolsley mascot :ninja:

Since found a matching logo on a chrome hubcap I may modify / cut to add somewhere too. Not mine in image but identical.
