Front engine guards/bars question

The left crash bar on mine was vibrating like crazy on mine today. Stopped to have a look and the bar is snapped off at the top mount.
Must of been a Monday when it was made.

The early crash bars were really flimsy. The set that came on mine I could bend with my bare hands (and I ain't $hit). I have a set of Rivco's now that tie together over the engine. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. The newer Triumph bars are much heavier duty than the old ones.

Thanks for that info. Ill get under the bike in a few days to see what everything looks like under there to get a better picture.

Got the bars mounted today. The Sears jack barely fit under the engine. I jacked it up just enough to balance it and installed the bars and Kury pegs. I must have the newer Triumph bars. The instructions showed a more flimsy top piece on the bars. The newer one is really sturdy. All I need now is a back rest and im in business.
