Fair enough about the four bolts, I suppose you could do the same with either kit.

I tried the powder coating on them, it doesn't work because of the kits wedge type system they use, there's no room for it. I scraped the excess off and it just doesn't work well.

Really I guess it's just a preference thing, slip on and leave on or fight the four things, I prefer slip on and leave on.

Like I said I find the Triumph version inelegant is all.

Ages ago there was a version of this sort of thing made in CZ - was really stylish too. But the UK one is cheaper by a long way. Hmmmmmmmm.

Laser cut steel brackets for Triumph Rocket 3 fly screen, powder coated black (pair l + r) They are same fit as our originals but have been re-designed to push the bottom of the screen 25 mm forward altering the pitch to be the same rake angle as the forks and giving more access to the key area slots for adjustment.

@Ishrub...Thanks for posting that. Wasn't aware of the side brackets. Will order those too instead of powder coating the originals. Everything will color match and prolly buying those is close to the powder coating cost of the originals.

@Ishrub Thanks to you and @Claviger for posting Davids stuff I have the bolts, brackets and fixing kit on its way!

The allen head bolt that fixes them in place is hidden behind the top mounting bolt, just make sure they're loose before slipping them on lol. Caught me out for a second when fitting them.
