Hello everyone , I am new to this prosses of flashing the ecu , I have prepend everything needed , OBDLink LX , TuneEcu , Battery charger , and read everything i could on this forum
But I bought the bike second hand and I would like to check first what version of the ECU is on that bike , I have a filing that someone already flash it
How can I check the version ?

Read the basic guide on Tuneecu.fr. After you connect to the ecu and register your bike, it will display the map number in the ecu. Never do ‘reset adapt’ on this bike.

You can only see the tune version specific to that bike (31019 for example), and how many times the ECU has been written to, but not if it's already tuned. Not that it matters, except if someone has already loaded the Penner tune and you overwrite it, you'll think we are all lying about the performance improvement!

Unless it has never been back to the dealer (the ECU's have had a few updates in the last few years), it's unlikely to be tuned with only 2 downloads...

The guy that I have bought from, bought it from the dealer on 20/02/2024 with 0 km . ( they had it on their storage more then a year) Probably the dealer prepar the bike with ecu update , but I am not sure . He OfCourse did not flash it

This is the All Markets map for the R model. This is the original map but version 3. I downloaded this version to my tablet on July 16, 2022. What model year is the bike? Did the first owner have the 500 mile break in service?

Done ! All went well ! It did not ask me to reset adaptation . I did the 12 minute run after fan start working . all went good . no check engine light

update: run it for 100 km , I can feel the deference in all gears, It seems a lot stronger, but somehow I hoped that the pops will stop, they did not

Hang on when you put the throttle to the stop in the lower gears!!!

You buy the stock map with the limit removed from Alain, then manually copy Penner’s altered tables over.
