jlagrave, what ae you using for a terminal? Smart phone, Tablet?? I had issues when using android smart phone, now I have a android tablet and never a clitch.
It’s a fairly inexpensive android 9 tablet from Amazon. DragonTouch or something. Has never given me any issues. Meets requirements. I move applied tunes to my Thruxton before.
I heard back from the developer, and he suggested the process I ended up doing. When it prompts recovery, cancel. Reconnect and make it prompt recovery again. Do that until the prompt includes the “full recovery” checkbox. That restored everything back to normal. I had managed to get it to come up without knowing that was the process so I got lucky haha. I appreciate everyone’s suggestions and support. Again, I think the issue was the low voltage initially. Why it wouldn’t recover properly with appropriate voltage, I’m not sure. But if anyone finds themselves in a loop of failed recoveries, that’s how you get it restored.
From Alain himself:
Hello,
when the app ask you to do the recovery hit Cancel, repeat the operation until you have the checkbox "Fully reprogramming" in the Recovery request
Check this option and hit ok.
The full download will take 50 min.
Update. Tried to upload the tune again, battery on charger, everything connected. Same issue. Download failed. Access denied this time. Had to go back to a full recovery again. Not sure what’s going on.

That's with the headlight fuse disconnected and all bluetooth connections removed except for the obx on both the bike and device using the app? I think the guide on the ecu site mentioned something about that.

Was going to give it another try this week at some point. Pretty determined to get it to work, and now that I know how to force the full recovery back to stock, I’m less worried about trying again haha. Will post any updates here.
UPDATE: Tried to load the tune again tonight, and it worked! First try! Haven’t test ridden yet, but reset the adaptation. Wish I could say I knew what was causing the issues, but it’s loaded and the bike runs! Can’t wait to try it out!
Thank you for all the support and suggestions guys. If anything of value came from this experience, it’s at least knowing how to force the full recovery process in tune ecu haha.
