This is the only reason i bought them, id rather not get hit by a car than worry about how cool they look, you don't look very cool in a box in the ground

I believe that both can be compatible but with another model/brand, such as the smaller Darla from : Darla
or the DM or D2 models from : DM LED Light Kit with DataDim™ Technology

And too bad that Triumph does not sell (yet ?) additional lights for the R3. I believe that even those for the trail Tiger 900 would fit nicely on the fork

I had a set of these mounted low on the forks on my BMW and my R3T. They are strictly for safety. I had them set to flash continually.

HyperWhites Flashing | Hyperlites, flashing LED motorcycle brake lights

I never had anyone turn in front of me or pull out in front of me. And coming up behind someone almost always resulted in them moving to the right. Only problem I had was riding in a group, something I only did a couple of times. A guy I was following told me they were really distracting. Of course they can be set not to flash, which I did in this case.
