How do I tell if the bike has TPMS installed? It's a new 2022 and has black 90degree metal valve stems.

Firstly, it is optional, won't come on a stock bike. Second, they all have 90 degree metal valve stems, as the TPMS sensor is inside the rim. Third, they should have a sticker on the rim next to the valve to warn anyone changing a tyre that it has a sensor.

In addition to what was already said, it'll also normally come with grey caps instead of black, though I wouldn't rely on that indication. If the tire pressures aren't available in the display and you can't enable the TPMS' tray in the settings, then it wasn't installed. At least, not entirely, but it would be odd to go through the trouble to install the sensors but not enable them in the computer.

OK, thanks. I didn't know black metal stems were standard.

Deflate the tire to 10 psi and fire up bike if something pops on dash you have it no pump the tire back and enjoy
