Fluid leak after Ramair Installation

Hi Everyone,

I recently installed the Ramair onto my Rocket 3 Roadster (2016), I have now got a fluid leak on the left hand side, that when wiped up has a slight green tinge to it, is it possible that this is some oil from the Ramair filter just trickling down as the engine gets hot? It seems to be less after the third ride. I initially thought it was a oil ring leak under the oil tank, but the fluid seems to be a different color.

Before I take it to my dealer, has anyone had a similar experience or agrees with my diagnosis/guess?

I didn’t notice any fluid prior to my installation of the Ramair filter.

Green fluid sounds like anti-freeze just saying.

I have not seen anything like this after my RAMAIR install a little over a week ago. I would not think it is anti-freeze from the area In question.

Sounds like anti freeze to me you haven't dislodged any feed pipes going to the expansion tank while fitting ramair would check around that area me self just a thought

I'm not sure if you relocated the coolant expansion bottle or not. I'd check the over flow cap to make sure its on correctly. Then I would lift the tank and check the lines out. One runs completely back amd drains on the ground down by the starter.

I’ll open up again and check the pipes, I didn’t relocate the coolant bottle, but it’s possible I disturbed a pipe during installation.

Just throwing this out there. There are a couple of bolts that hold the thermostat housing on and also a bolt just above the thermostat housing that is a coolant bleed. If for some reason you loosened a bolt in that area it could lead to a leak. ?
