Floppy Shifter, Not Good

any other shots needed?

Ok input shaft looks in good shape. Now we need to see the output shaft: second has a female sprocket right next to the helical gear, and the dog slider between it and the third gear output.

Looking pretty good can I see the second gear dogs

They are engaged in this picture. I'll light off the computer tomorrow and we'll go over correct circlip orientation. Can't draw good on the phone

Before i get all crazy, this output shaft bearing came off and i wasn't astute enough to pay attention, is the seal face thr crankcase, or supposed to face the gears?

You can clearly see in this picture the Cir-Clip (Snap ring) is located correctly in my eyes the sharp side is outward towards the splines. Right @Rocket Scientist ?

She is looking good and I would if it were my bike verify the cost and send the transmission to Robinson industries Fred can speak to the difference.

The clip I can see clearly is on correctly. As for Robinsons, I would never put a trans back together that I was going to keep without sending it there. Heavy duty circlips for piece of mind, and back cut gears for easy, positive shifts.
