I ordered some Convex Kury mirrors and they fcuked up the order and I got the flat glass instead :x I'm thinking about sending them back and getting the convex. Is convex glass really better and does it give you a wider view? Or should I just keep the flat glass ones. Any experience with either?

The convex will give you a wider view than the flat glass.

The downside to convex is that the disclaimer "objects in the mirror, may be closer than they appear" applies.

I have the convex and prefer them over the flat because I want to be able to quickly see as much as possible before making a lane change.

More information about your surroundings is always a good thing.

I would recommend adding the disclaimer to each mirror for everyones safety:

I always have non magnified flat glass as this gives a real view and measure of the distance of things. Depending on the mirror size, you may want to get the small round convex stick on ones to put on your mirrors, on the inside part of the mirrors, the part that gives a view of your shoulders. I found this helpfull with the blindspot when changing lanes.

Agree that the closer than appears can be misleading at times.

I made stickers for my mirrors and applied to the bottom which read

"*******S IN MIRRORS ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR"
