First service, what did people pay? I was just quoted $380

First service does not require a software check. Just do it yourself for the cost of an oil change kit.

I think around the 500 mark is pretty common, mine was as well. My tech spent a couple of hours going over the entire bike while I waited. I think it has become a high profit add on when a dealers do this though.

A litte over $400 for me. Outrageous, but I figured better let the dealer do the first one for warranty purposes. I'll be doing the oil change and final drive myself prior to the 10K service to try and reduce some of the $$ charges. Just document your oil purchases for the warranty records.

North of $500 USD in the land of LA with a first service coupon. Was told it included a software check so had the dealer complete. Plan on future service intervals done by myself unless I know there is a software or electronic issue.
Remember when the first service was free? My 14 Rocket was free but when I bought my 2020 Rocket from the same dealer it wasn't free ($500 plus also). They have managed to suck money out of your wallet at every turn. Triumph is as bad as HD now. I'm surprised the HD dealers don't charge you at the door. You know, where you go to look at T shirts and clothing and maybe see a HD motorcycle on the showroom floor. Oil slick may or may not be optional.
