The Triumph leather bag is just below horn strapped on forks it's not even close on rubbing the paint on front fender.
I keep tools in it and I put little battery booster in just in case and good thing my friend left his light on and I took it out and started his bike maybe ones I make my trunk I'll ditch the tool bag thanks for input.

the space from the bag to the fender is very small compared to what the front forks will move.
so the first big bump you hit will slam that bag on the front fender.

I HAVE 3 1/2 INCH FROM BOTTOM OF TOOL BAG TO TOP OF FENDER.
YOU GUYS THINK THAT WILL HI MY ROP FENDER MY FENDER CAN TRAVEL THAT FAR?
I DIDNT HAVE TOOL BAG ON AT THE TIME I went into a big pot hole bag I almost went off my big , at the time I thought oh **** my front radiator or spoil is damaged thinking my front fender went into it and nothing didn't hit.
So I'm thinking if the front fender didn't hit my front radiator of spoiler with at impact. Thinking my tool box should be fine.
Unless the travel of unpack is more where my tool box is?
If that's the case I'll take it off
But if it's just looks that you guys don't like it I'll keep until I get my truck besides I don't think anyone notices it when there looking at my bike right now it's convenience

My bag was tight up under lights too but mt fender was all scuffed after a 1000 mile road trio including country roads,
BUT EVEN on flattop h'way if you have to brake hard you will use ALL your front suspension travel.

Put zip ties on your forks. Puah them down to the seals
Go for a ride. Hot some hard bumps and then go full on the front end breaks as hard as you dare. See how far the zip ties get pushed back. You will be amazed how much travel there is.
Btw this is how you tune a suspension for a track the quick and dirty way. Btw I did this and it's almost the entire shock gets used. About 5 inches under heavy riding but nearly the entire shock when you hit a bump on decell. But that's probably harder than you ride. I've been known to lock up the front just to push myself. I'm on my 3rd set of ped scrapers too. I usually use the entire rear wheel as well. I never ride with tools. Ditch the front bag. Just use it for trips and take it off for show and tell time

So you guys are saying that if you slam front brakes really hard that your going to get that much travel , so it's even possible that front of back fender can hit stock front grill?
I would think if you get that much travel you can hit front radiator because even stock is kind of close?
Does it matter I got the up grade progress front shocks? They say they are better then stock?

Yep upgraded fork springs help a lot with ordinary brake dive but big bumps will still use most if not all available travel even with upgraded springs. If you raise the front fork oil weight from stock 5w to 7w for a mid weight rider it improves more.
I am 300lb plus fully kitted up and use 10w with the heaviest rate spring made by RaceTech in USA.
if your custom fender height is the same as stock and shape at top same too, then there is no way it will hit a stock radiator but you should check clearance with the help of the zip-tie as suggested earlier, BEFORE you hit a big bump on the road.

Well I have hit a big bot hole a couple of times a radiator cover is good , but will remove tool box because that has not been tested and this paint is way too expensive to test. Thanks
