Rocket 3. 05
I just found out that the Rocket 3 final drive was manufactured by an Italian company called Graziano Transmissions. I can't find out too much about them other than they were taken over by Dana. The main reason I would like to contact them is to find out if there is any way they could make and sell some of the splined couplings that fail on our final drives as they are easy to remove and replace with the correct tools and would save a lot of money. Has anyone heard of them at all?

Also I found a guy on Facebook who posted in 2014 photos of a box of couplings, I tried to contact him to find out where he got them or if he made them but got no reply??? His name is Peter Stecklina.

Would be nice to have one just for what ifs.

First of all that collar is not that bad if you grease it every other tire change then it may last 100,000 miles.
There are two collars one small and one large one is marked with a grove around it and the other is plain like in the box of collars
So best to get the biggest as the smaller ones wear faster.. if you change to bigger collar then you need the bigger splined drive shaft. I have that info at the shop.
Another option is you can take the pinion assembly out of a touring and use in a standard or maybe a roadster.
Also if there is any play in the pinion assembly
the bearings are shot and the pinion gear/ring gear will be rough and may whine.

Are you referring to the bevel box gears?

If you should be able to make contact could you please post info. Id be real curious to know if they also make the drives for the new 2.5 Rockets and if they have different ratios available???

Pretty sure there's no way to change the drive ratio on them like a ring and pinion. The gearing is built into the transmission gears.
