No cannot do, they ALL have the same final ratios with 16" rear wheels.
Different diffs may look the same but angle of drive connection varies between some dual headlight and single headlight Rocket III models silver coloured diffs.
Early versions 2004-2009 dual headslight models including for your Classic have alloy Silver painted 90 degree diffs similar to your engine's color.
i do not think that the gearing is any higher
the touring has a different angle and will not fit the standards classics roadsters
if you use a later that 2007 then you need the driveshaft for the later model

Point of clarification required... Are you asking about a Tourer or a Touring?? Big difference. The Tourer uses the 240/55 R16 rear wheel while the Touring is a 180/70 R16 which is much narrower. The Tourer was a Classic sold around 2007/8 with all the amenities for long distance already included like a special seat, back rests, windshield and leather saddlebags. The Touring came with hard bags and a much narrower rear wheel requiring a different final drive housing to mount up to the narrower swing arm. I'm pretty sure all the models used the same gear ration though.
