Filter options for the Bearclaw modification needed by Newbie!

I've ridden with mine in all weather conditions, including heavy rain, both with and without a pre-filter cover. Hasn't effected the bike at all. I would say the main thing to avoid would be the throttle bodies getting flooded with water while the engine's not running. With a horizontal filter that can't happen as water just runs through it and out the bottom and there's a sizeable lip preventing anything getting into the intake run. There would be greater concern with exposed filters sitting upright or an exposed Ramair but I'm not aware of anyone having problems. As far as running in the rain, it seems that any water ingested gets atomised into a fine mist and does no harm at all.

I was pondering on replying to the question but you have done a good job and put it perfectly @CanberraR3. I also use a pre charger just to stop bugs getting wedged in the pod. No wet weather issues with mine either.

Reading through the first page I thought I had my answer. After page 3 my head hurts. I also like the look of the large K&N's. I am currently having a set of TOR's fitted with the mapping. Can I run the K&N's without getting tune boy added or should I hold off until I get one?
Liking the look of some of these other filters styles now.

Where can you get 3' (as opposed to 25') of 1/32" edge trim in the US?
