Female Rocket owners?

May I inquire as to what it is and where you got that sweet looking rear fender rack?

1olbull,

I built two R3's up, pretty much twins, both had modified frame mounted Harley FXRT fairings, and both had those racks on the rear since we both ride solo.

I built the racks and mounted a Givi plate to each. The original "Blackie" I still ride:

After that trip my wife decided she wanted something lighter to ride, so like a fool I sold "BlackieII". Unfortunately only 3 weeks after the new owner had it he was in an accident and totaled it, Only one "Blackie" now.

Not usually a fan of the fairings, but I have to say that works for the bike.

Don't you guys even think about making an offer i told Lonnie to give me first shot when he is ready to part ways with Blackie!!:D

I would like to see some nice close up in focus pix of your rack if you don't mind.
It is very functional looking and would even look better on my R3R heh heh heh

Supply your own R3R and pay him exorbitantly to build Blackie 3. ;)

1olbull,

I'm currently in Arkansas to help my wife with a festival this weekend and the bike is in OK so I can't get the pics for a while. After that I have three more shifts with the Fire Department, then retirement.

The rack is very simple actually, used a passenger base to attach it. You can see it for real in Montrose!

A firefighter about to retire!?!? Cool beans!
Congrats on that, my friend and I LOVE riding in your state (especially the NW quadrant) - can't wait to get back there.
See ya in Montrose!
