There seems to be an unwritten "law" somewhere that the RAA's are only East,
and the Salvo's are only West..
I say we mix it up some.....
i liked HeR3tics idea early on.
A "central location" for the annual RAA get together,
say Eureka Springs or Branson, maybe even Colorado,
plenty of curves at all three, but keep it centrally located.
So more captains can make it.
Regional launches/salvos in the fall, one East, one West.

In my opinion, consideration should be made on how many people will show up in the west. Colorado is a good location but are there many R3 owners in that direction?
Central north seems to have more R3 owners than west but then you have to find the twisties.
How far are the eastern and southern riders willing to ride and I think it would be great to do something for the Canadian brothers to attend.
Seems like time for another vote.

The only place West that I would like to re-visit is ESTES PARK, COLORADO. Rocky Mountain National Park, The Stanley Hotel(The Shining), there are some casinos down near Denver for those that must, plenty of great roads, wildlife in great abundance, cabins galore, eclectic shops in Estes Park for those who must, a Triumph dealer in Denver if the need arises, a very beautiful place but if its in October I'm out. Elk rut hits then, they are too big to run into, and I'll be back in Maggie in mid October but who the heck cares what I say.

From central NC to Estes park is 1 day and 4 hours 1,732 miles but I might as well do Sturgis before I keel over if I'm doing that distance. Bad ass bikes in the Badlands?

Again, my opinion sux so carry on, but I will tow a trailer with party favors if it's within reason to do so.

I'm likin' the Estes Park idea better than the Mexico idea.
But then I like Apple pie better than jalapenos pie...

might even be able to come up with some cool patches for that...
