Can anyone tell me how to use the factory driving light switch with my own driving lights? I was under the tank doing some other stuff and tried to locate the wiring in there for the switch. I couldn't turn the key on as I had the battery disconnected due to the other work. I'd like to use the switch and have the lights only on when the key is on. I located at least two blocked off factory plugs under there. Which one is which???

Expanding on my reply at that other place. The lights have two plugs. Each factory light has its own wiring harness. From my recollection (its been 4 or 5 months) the lights have a small squarish or rectangular plug. The only other dummy plugs I recall that are a pair is the GPS wiring and I think they are a round or circular connector.

I didn't pay any attention to the wires coming off the plugs since I was using the standard connectors. Since the wiring harnesses for the Triumph Accessory lights don't specify left/right the wires from the connectors on the wiring harness should be the same.

It's a three wire retangular plug on the main wire harness, right side about 8 inches back from the yoke. It is an open plug with grease in it. It does not have a plug or cap in it. It's usually under the harness.

I fitted my own lights on the front crash bars, I fitted the relay and a fuse and wired everything up except the switch wires to the relay. I found which wires went to the switch on the switchblock by taking it off the bars and tracing the wires to under the tank, then hooked them up to the relay, hth
