Exhaust

Talk about good writing? Excellent writing, with diplomacy to boot!

AGAIN, nobody's bashing you, just stating obvious facts.
Which are: choices.... Style, looks, materials used (compatible vs non compatible) Not to mention the engineering & testing differences (if any)
Either choice is a great choice for the individual looking for the outcome that he is expecting.
And like Paul said, when you compare just the two extensions & not his complete system incl. the header, the prices are not that divided.

Try not to be so thin skinned bruh.....

Russell, nobody is suggesting that you should not feel comfortable trying dains system.
After seeing many posts here pertaining to a lot of captains changing out oem headlamps for the JW Speaker Daymakers @ $350 ea. X 2 for the non touring rocket, I, like some others, bought the Chinese knock offs for $100 ea. Knowing that I'm not getting the real McCoy, & I am perfectly happy with that choice 7 months later...... Now in a year or two..... Who knows

You make a lot of good sense, EasTexRIII. When I put extra lighting on my R3T, I went through the same thought process you did. I've already purchased Dain's exhaust, but I haven't received it yet. I'm confident that I'll love it, and that it'll function properly, ( forever, I hope ). If it lasts until the day I choose to replace it, or if I have to replace it someday, sooner than I planned, .. either way, I won't cry about it. Having the Rocket to mount an exhaust on, I'll quickly buy another, install the next one, and keep on riding, with a smile on my face. The central theme, and the most important ingredient, is having an R3. So, whether you're talking turn signals, brake pads, tires, or whatever, the joy comes from owning this fantastic machine. I just have "a thing" about owning the biggest and the best. When it comes to "scrimping" on my exhaust? I don't feel that I'm doing that. I'm perfectly happy pulling off my stock pipes, and trying on Dain's. You see, the one thing that's curious to me, is that I have not seen, or read, any string of criticisms about Dain's exhaust pipe from his prior customers. Maybe just one. That's it. So, if Dain's pipe is no good, shoddy workmanship, or inferior material, why aren't his former customers writing about it, and saying so? You would think, there would be so many negative reports, that Dain would either be "shamed" out of the business, or he would change his manufacturing process. Yes, even if that meant increasing his prices to accommodate his higher production costs. I have not read, or seen, any string of numerous complaints from his prior customers. I've only read negative comments from people who've said, they would never touch Dain's pipe, and they would never allow a flex pipe to be installed on their Rockets. And, that's fine. That's their opinions, and I'm here trying to soak up all of it into my brain, but they're clearly not dissatisfied customers. Nor are they dissatisfied users, because they refuse to use it. That's fine. Their choice, but I'm just trying to consider everything that's being said, in the proper perspective. One day in the future, when I develop my own opinion, I look forward to reporting my opinion here on this forum, and it will be based on my actual experiences as a customer, and user, of the product.

I'm sorry to see all this discord and disagreement. All you guys know so much more than me. You should all teach a course, "R3 for dummies". I could be the star pupil. You could all teach it together. Best regards to all of you... Russell

Thanks to all of my customers as I will not respond to this stupid crap baby like bashing sh!t again. Well like I thought people can only make comments here and don't want to call me other then my customers saying what they think of crap talk, and are behind me more then ever thanks. As far as the alloy, that is the stupidest crap I ever heard of, for one I have a gasket at the head pipe so it's not metal to metal and two if people believe that then you sure can deal some major BS. I worked for P&L Heat Treating and Grinding for over 8 years look it up on the web and was a supervisor there so I know a thing or two about metal and heat. And talk about bashing thats all I've seen in this thread. It's like this someone posts asking about my exhaust Paul chimes in trying to sell his and bad mouths mine in the mean time. If you don't like my pipe then good go somewhere else and stop crying how much you don't like it for or you call me and I will be glad to talk to you about it maybe change your mind. But don't bash what you don't have or see in front of you it makes you look stupid!!! By the way my flex pipe looks nothing like that at all. But I will share some comments and video of what it does look and sound like. I just got the video today so if it doesn't show go here
todo llego perfecto y el escape suena increible excelente vendedor, hope this helps you brush up on your spanish

Hey Dain, I got the exhaust and put it on last night, I have to say I'm really happy with it! Sounds great! The only problem I had was the holes on my mounting plate were too small, so I had to drill them out, and it was easiest for me to remove the mounting plate and put it on the exhaust pipe, then screw the plate into the bike frame. Other than that it was really good, love the sound. I made a little video for you if you want to put it on YouTube. Thanks again for everything, I love the pipe! Really gives life to the bike. Have a great weekend.

-Mike F

You are welcome Mike yea some have to drill the holes out a little like I said am glad you like it

Keep up the great work Dain!!!!!

Both Mr @Paul Bryant and Mr @Dain have turned me against their products simply by continuing in this petty bs about their products. If your product is superior, it will be readily apparent. Your whining only brings down your brand......Remember that before being drawn into these petty arguements.
