That is very true , but to those of us that just have to have the aesetics of a twin pipe , the link is a necessary evil . Even if it does cost a couple of ponies !
A MATTER of taste that left side pipe doesnt look good or help performance and its pricey nothing I would want

Might help for comparison

Around £800 all in . Expensive I know compared to a single side slip on and makes slightly less power yes . But I personally can't live with a naked left side . It's horses for courses I guess ?
WELL you could hang a dummy pipe on the left side and produce more HP LOL

Great looking pipes. Will Paul's header fit the new pipes. I suspect but don't know, that Paul's headers would be of a larger diameter (otherwise apart from looks why would you get them) and therefore would not fit. I am genuinely interested as those DP Mufflers look great and I may go that path. Thought I would have to talk to Paul and Dave to ensure a snug fit

This is exactly what i am thinking of doing. I have scoured the internet for weeks trying to find a full 3 in 2 system with headers and exhaust+ cat bypass and there's nothing out there! I love Paul's header looks and i think Dave has probably the best sound out there. Maybe i wish it was a bit louder since all i've heard is from videos and some of them are poorly made. Anyone in Toronto area with Dave's or Paul's header?

Here is a pic from the right side of the bike. Hope this gives you some idea of the design .
It does indeed. It's like the OLD aftermarket pre-roadster 3-pipe cat delete box (I have one in a box somewhere - in case I find some 3pipe TORS in good condition when my bank balance is healthy) with an exit eliminated.

It's been a while since I saw any photos - but I remember early on there were some neat solutions with a single "stubby" slip on mounted underneath the beast exiting LEFT. May not work on the ABS bikes.

@foxviewnet - I have just purchased the same 'silencers' from Dave. I am very keen to hear how you get on with them and also what 'tune' is needed to get the optimum performance/mpg. Have had to ditch the Zard as the insides have parted company with the outsides... cheap and nasty rubbish!!
