Very Odd Indeed the CES and Carpenters needed spacing out but not the case with the Paul Bryant system which stays closer to the block, you have classic boards which gives close to 2 inches of clearance how it can boil the brake fluid at that distance is beyond me, there is either something critically wrong with your bike or you are having a lend of us!
I had CES headers and they were less than 1/2 inch away from the Brake reservoir and even in heavy traffic in summer where I was copping the heat big time and it didn't give any trouble in the brakes, I am starting to wonder if you are stretching it a bit, sorry if I am being a bit blunt but this has gone on long enough take the bike to a dyno tuner and get it sorted.
Just another thing have you recently changed your coolant? did you bleed the air out of the cooling system

I have Paul's header on my Roadster.

I installed a small heat deflector because I burnt my textile pants. Other than that I would say that the temps are almost the same as the stock manifold. I don't have any problem with it.

I plan a ride tommorow and somwhere I have a digital pyrometer...perhaps I can locate it and train it on the headers.

talk about Jardines Iloves those pipes . they sound so good not too loud yet rumble deep down had mine for 10 years bolted them on 3 different rockets still enjoy the music

Chappettes - I feel a trip to somewhere "horsey" coming on. Big French sports chain called "Decathlon" will be my first call. They have some which are leather inside leg and free breathing outside leg. Must wear my "Buell Adventure Gear".

I think the "mesh" versions are artificial leather. The SYDNEY are all leather and only 35€.

Yep, I think I boiled the brake fluid. I am going to put in some high temp fluid in there and see if that fixes it. Relocating the rear master cylinder will be the last option.

YOU can use some heat barrier between the master cylc. and the pipe you can slicone it to the back of the cycl.works great
