Exedra Max + Michelin Commander 2 + GO PRO2

8142 kms on the Metz so far, reckon I might get 11,000 just looking at what's left. If I don't get fed up with its nonsense and unexpected drifts.
What do you run as a front tyre mate ?

I have a Metz on the front but I don't like it with the bridgy on back it feels like it over steers at slow car park speed. I'm going to try an Avon up front next .

Hmm Richard uses that combination too and reckons its really good. He has a Bridgestone on the front now but it's obviously struggling to keep up with the rear as far as wear goes.

At 7,000 miles plus now, with about 65-75% of the center tread depth worn away, I will say that the Exedra Max is showing a bit more of a tendency to break traction. Part of that is due to its having a slightly harder compound than the Metz, part of it is due to the time of year here, with ambient air temperatures and road surface temperatures dropping significantly and part of this is due to there being less meat on the bone, so to speak. This tire has always been a bit more slippery on painted surfaces on the roadway, which I would ascribe strictly to the compound Bridgestone cooked up for this "extended mileage" tire . I am also having to be a bit more careful with the application of my rear brake, as just recently, it has shown a greater tendency to lock up. Still, all in all, I think that it is a superior tire, especially at its price point here in the US.

You may recall I said I was going to put a Michelin Comander 2 on the front just found out today they are not even the country yet ... Be a couple more weeks and as I need a new front tyre now have a Cobra going on tomorrow

Well the first one was great and based on that I bought another two when put one on st beginning of year it was great till st 7,500km it started to delaminate on the way back from the island back in feb, so hoping it was a one of faulty tyre I gave it back to distrubter and put the other on now after only 6,000 km this has done it to coming back from RDU I am in Sydney and had to nurse it the last 100 km, not happy as I still have not heard what caused the first one, I am only speculating but I think it may just have been that they came from same batch. The point that makes me cranky is that I have not been given assurance that is was the case, I had the trailer on and my Ann and was in the middle of nowhere, luckily I was able to find dealer near my friend who happened to have cobra in stock
Please understand that I am not saying the Shinko is no good it is just that I have not had promised feed back from distutor of them

Oh.. didn't know that, well I would go back to the Cobra but have to wear the BS out first.. must say the BS feels strange after the Cobra, prefere the Cobra as an all rounder I think.. hope it works for ya :D

We'll see how it goes Richard had a good run with it and is talking about going back to the Cobra and while I was hoping to try out the Michelin, I can't try what's not in the country
