Exedra Max + Michelin Commander 2 + GO PRO2

they only had 4 in stock mate but it would be a great idea for sure.
ill definitely be ordering two at a time min when i need a new rear tire
So you are still on your first how are finding it as it wears down, how many K's have you got on it.
The reason I ask how it is as it handling as it wears down is I have from the past ( a fair while back like the 70/80's) when brigdys were std equipement on Yamahas I found they were good at first but once they had half worn they got a bit iff'y when pushed and in the wet, but as I said that was a fair while ago

Well ill be honest here mate she hangs on a lot better than a Metz and the increased profile seems to suit the rocket . I have 6000k on mine but doubt it will last longer than 8000k she will be long dead by then so probably good for 2000k more than a Metz . She still hangs firm in corners but she breaks loose under power on straights wet or dry and in the wet I almost had her tank slapping last week I don't really rate it in the wet myself it hates white lines and any sort of excelleration but still hangs really nice in bends and corners . Do I like the tire ? Yes will I buy another Yes . But the durability is only a couple of 1000 ks better but it seems to wear a lot more evenly than a Metz which I am impressed with . Great tire but durability isn't as great as some have stated IMO if u push the bike anyway . Hard riding 8000k max with straight line traction compromised at 6000 k . Still cheaper and far better performance than Metz . Sorry if others don't agree but these are my honest findings with my bike setup and riding style .

Thanks mitch for your honest evaluation I was getting the feeling that was the case from comments some had made, I am still keen to try one and if I ever wear this Federal out it will be sooner than later I know someone who has a spare wheel and am thinking of asking if I could borrow it to try a brigdy out. As I have alway said I have an open mind and will try a tyre if it has merit but if it is crap I will tell you, boy will I ever tell you.
Haveing said that it will have to be good to give as good a traction as the Fedral whether it be scaping the pegs or wet / dry riding. I will again say that the reason I went to the car tyre was It Is safer than the Metzcrap it was never about saving money as I only got 18,000km compared to other peoples 30,000 + km

Just so there is no confusion with my comments it's after 6000k she loses traction in a straight line she is fine till then . I like it but don't think it's the miricle tire people are hoping for . It's won me over and ill keep using it though I just want to be honest with my findings . I'm going to put a Avon cobra on the front next with another bridgy on the back . I think this combo will suit my riding style . A Metz on the back of mine would already be on the rubber heap and the bridgy holds corners better at 6000k than the Metz did new IMO

Mitch I agree with those comments i have done similar km . The tyre still has at least half of the tread left and tends to lose traction more so in the up right position but the Metz was well worn by this stage .i will stick with the Bridgestone for similar reasons. I expect i will get around 10'ooo km out of my current rear tyre

I will add though Pete I flick my tires as soon as I reach the wear markers that's why I say 8,000k if I ran the tire dead maybe 10,000k but I wouldn't enjoy the last 2000k because I would loose confidence and trust in the tire so I always switch it out before paranoia sets in lol

I learned the hard way Mitch the r3 aquaplaned when I went from a dry road to wet road through the twisty bits on the southern end of nunumbah road arse end caught up to front end went bush got spat of the bike heavily concussed for 4days I now know why the wear marks are there . See ya next week if the weather is fine

Part of the reason I think it seems to have better grip and longer wear is the higher profile and therefore slightly higher gearing which means it is more inclined to maintain traction under similar riding conditions than Metz or Avon. That's not to say it's necessarily a grippier tyre, although I do think it is anyway.

I'm very happy with the way it hangs on and I actually like to be able to feel it break traction under hard acceleration when the mood takes me. When it does it feels very controlled. I also have much more confidence in the wet than with other tyres.

I wouldn't call it a wonder tyre but having tried a couple each of Metz and Avon it's certainly the best of the bunch by a big margin. I have close to 7,000km on my second Bridgestone and have to say I haven't noticed any deterioration in performance at all. Hoping to get to 10,000km as I did with my first one.

U wouldn't of liked the feeling of the way mine broke loose mate trust me it was far from controlled lmfao

I really like it though and will get another but these are my experiences with this one . I wouldn't mind trying a cobra just so I can say I've tried all three available though
