Hi, I've connected to TuneECU gone to adjustment section and there isn't a crankshaft position sensor adaptation option, any ideas?

So I have a Samsung tablet updated with the latest Android and patches available, an OBDLink MX+ with the latest firmware, the most recent TuneECU version (updated it a couple of days ago) and the option is there for me. Have you made sure if you’re using a phone with less screen real estate that it’s not just off the screen and you have to scroll down? Otherwise as other folk said in the other thread, reach out to TomTom or Alain. They are both fairly responsive.

FYI this was just going down to the bike and turning on the ignition (one click up, one click down) and without starting or warming the engine… Just to clarify further, make sure you scroll to the “dashboard” page rather than the map page, click into ECU, then Tests&Adjustments, then Adjustments.

Hi, thanks for the message. Yes the Adjustments screen you are showing in your picture is what I want. Your screen comes from a Rocket 3 R or GT download yes. It's not from a Rocket 3 TFC download, please confirm. Yes, whilst it was downloaded on my phone I did think that, however, I download it on my Samsung tablet & it's exactly the same. There is a Dashboard page & Adjustments page, both pages show the same screen without Crankshaft Position Adaption. I have reached out to TomTom, I'm still waiting a response. It's definitely missing off the TFC model only R & GT downloads are fine. My bike is VIN 971688 which for me is 31024, ive tried the other ones which are for other parts of the world & they are the same, the closest from them to 31024 is 31029 which is Argentina. I can't download the R & GT downloads the VINs are different. Have you seen the other thread from the other members?

Hi again, have you seen the thread messages from Nashvegas? What are your thoughts? I'm going to try his suggestion a little later. Question, forgive for asking, how long do you think it would take to incorporate "Crankshaft Position Adaption" on the Adjustments screen / page for 31024? I'm not sure of the process involved in achieving that goal quickly.

Yes I have a 3R (that’s my video everyone keeps posting), and yes I saw the other posts - Nash’s suggestion is worth a try. FWIW, I don’t imagine it will take Alain long to add if it’s an oversight just on the TFC. But if Nash’s suggestion doesn’t work, you’re stuck either waiting for Alain, or biting the bullet and getting a dealer to do it. I have no clue why your local dealer insists they won’t do it, I’d have thought charging you a hundred quid for 5 minutes work they wouldn’t give a **** what tune was in it. *shrugs*

Yes your right, this Triumph dealer definitely got the hump. The TFC is out of warranty anyway so don't know or understand what his problem is. How do I find out that I have the latest version for my TFC? I'm sure though I have the latest software version. Silly question next, do you know Alan's email address so I can directly chase, politely ask? Lastly, you guys doing videos on YouTube are a great help. It's far far better to have a visual procedure than written procedures. I have to say though, surely I'm not the only TFC owner who has had this problem? I mean, for me to use TuneECU to remap my bike without a visual solution within the software to the crankshaft position adaption problem is strange, I can't be the only one surely?
