END OF MONTH PACKRATS RIDE

go on rub it in, all I have to look forward to is riding up to Canberra tomorrow (to pick up my ring) and the weather is shaping up fairly nasty, we had one of the worst electrical storms here last night that I can remember in a long time

Was a shocker. We had pretty much continuous rumbling and lightning for much of the night. If the house wasn't shaking from the thunder, the bed was from my big brave staffy (ie the ring packing plant ) huddled under it.

Hi guys
for those captains in the brisbane region the last middle of month ride for the year with the packrats triumph forum will be as follows

The Memorial Ride will be held on the 18th December starting from Blacksoil BP at about 8.30 or 9.00am.
We travel around the back of Wivenhoe to Esk then past Perseverence dam and to Cabarlah Hotel for lunch before heading down the range via Murphy's creek.

Have to give this one a miss Mitch.Just spoke to team moto springwood quote been aproved and parts ordered. Total just under 6 grand. But bottom triple tree is on back order from U.K. there guess 3 to 5 weeks before I'm back on the road. Got them to replace seats with roadster gel seat and mirrors with triumph accessory oval.

Mate that quoted 3 to 5 weeks will be more like 8 to 10 weeks from my experience with back ordered parts . I bought the Roadster gel seat from the States but the Classic non-gel is heaps more comfortable for rider and passenger....true.

I bought the Roadster gel seat from the States but the Classic non-gel is heaps more comfortable for rider and passenger....true.

Totally agree. I can't understand why people bag it. I reckon the Classic dual seat is up with most comfortable seats I've had on a bike. And it's blacker than the Standard seat. I have 2 - 1 with rider backrest and one without.
