My friend is stranded in Washington (from Arizona) on a RIII Touring, 2009. His rear wheel is toast! The bearing is loose in the aluminum wheel.

Anyone have a wheel! I'll pay all fee's!

I think I found a wheel. It's off a 2011 touring and its located in South Dakota. I'll find our in about an hour.

Washington State.

I found a 2011 rear wheel, complete with tire and under 5000 miles. It was pulled when the RIII Touring was converted to a trike. Unfortunately I was 30 minutes to late. My friend had ordered a new wheel assy and tire through the dealer. $1600.oo so far not including overnight freight.

Still looking to see what caused the problem. The axle was still tight when the problem was found. The right bearing wallowed our the hole it was pressed into in the aluminum wheel. About a month ago he had a busted left shock. He had to ride 200 miles to meet up with me and put on one of my spares. This may have contributed to the problem, not sure yet.

Time will tell.
