Ok.. So I'm happy with the sound.. its exactly as my bike should sound.. as for the end can.. more work to be done. I like the shape but could do with being a little longer and finished better.. So, who knows anything about carbon fiber?
I'm thinking of making an outer shell for it to lengthen it and improve the finish.. I know I can buy carbon fiber composite and resin locally but have never worked with it, although I have used fiberglass many times.. I'm thinking I will make an outer mould with expanding foam, cut it in half to get it off, then glue back together, then line it and make another solid mould of the inner shape, and then wrap it with carbon fiber.. I can cure it in the oven. me thinks I have some reading to do.. once made I will rivet it on with some nice shiny rivets... and then paint the black of course!!
