Dyna Beads

I have been running the dyna beads in my rear tire tire (Avon) for a few months now with no problems, just had a new Avon put on the front, dumped in the beads, now around 100 mph I start getting nasty vibration up front! gauges, bars shaking hard! back off and it clears up! ? are the beads only good up to 100mph! maybe I got a bad tire? takin it back off and having it spin balanced/ weights added see if it balances!

Put 1/2 ounce more in, this should take care of the vibration.

I remember a recent couple of articles (and maybe a letter to the editor) in Motorcycle Consumer News about the fact that Dyna-Beads didn't work well and they couldn't recommend them. You should have a look there. Sorry, I don't remember the issue umber or month. E-mail Dave Searles at MCN - perhaps he'll refer you to it.

I have 20k miles using dyna beads with great results, both motorcycle tires and darkside. I think I have 2-1/2 ounces in the back maybe 3 and 1-1/2 oz in the front.

I have two ounces in my new Metz front seems to be very smooth but I am running higher air pressure than Triumph manual states. I also do not run 100 mph however.

thanks for the replies! I dont remember the oz size bag! I had ordered right from the dyna site and ordered the size bag listed for the 150 tire! I dumped in just one bag! but not sure oz size!
