I've had good results with Dyna Beads in my last two sets of Dunlops on my '09 Harley Ultra. I need to install a new Avon Cobra I've ordered to replaced the worn out Metzler on the front of the Rocket I bought a week ago or so. Any reason I should not use Dyna Beads on this tire? The rear tire is like new, a Bridgestone Exedra Max. It has several weight squares on it's rim. I've never run beads in one tire and weights on another at the same time. I'm guessing this isn't a problem but thought I should ask those far more experienced than I with Rockets.

Thanks,

Snake oil. If it makes you feel better . . . go for it.

Hmmmm......not exactly the thumbs up I was hoping for. Have you used Dyna Beads? Yes, I was skeptical in the beginning too but they have worked just fine for me. I must agree though, it seems pretty odd that a couple ozs of beads can balance a tire.

Thanks,

VR

Just because they don't do any harm, doesn't mean they are doing any good. I hate to be hating...but the physics just don't work like your mind wants to believe.

IMG_0145.JPG IMG_0143.JPG Have not had a problem with a cupped tire since purchasing this little gem. Have had a problem with carry in rims and dealerships claimed to have balanced but my chalk line says different. Did buy some cure all aches and pains one time only to find out it was 80% alcohol. It did work but tasted horrible. o_Oo_Oo_Oo_O:oops::oops::oops::oops::oops::x3::x3::x3::x3::x3::x3::x3:

I use 8oz of Ride On in each tire. It's supposed to work as a balancer and tire sealant.

Norm, you need to go to Ride On website & look up the amount of sealant to put in each tire - 8oz is not enough, specially on the back tire.
On my Std I think I put 1 1/2 - 8oz bottles in front & 2 1/2 in the rear

I used the Dyna beads & they work just fine, but at the suggestion of others on here I have switched to Ride On tire balancer/sealant - it balances better (using the same dynamic theory) and add the advantage of puncture sealant.

Naw. I'll stick with the chalk and weights. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Took the day off to feed the fish and they are doing good. Was really impressed with how well the Flathead's did during the winter. Had a few while we were at the pond. Don't know just yet how the bass are doing but figure they are all good too. ;);););););)
