2008 Triumph rocket 3 touring
Drag bike build started on a drawing board months ago and now pieces are starting to come together. We wanted the longer frame of the touring and the ability to run 190/55zr/17 dunlop dragmax on the rear. The front end will be a raked triple tree from Raked Triumph Rocket 3 Trike Thug Billet Yokes | billetbikebits, and will be using a usd front fork settup. I have most of the other parts ready, the engine for this package is still top secret for now. Thoughts, ideas are ALL welcome. I will be leaning on my crew alot to get this accomplished as without there help i couldnt do this. Thanks for all the support you guys give me on all the things i try and do. Lets build a triumph rocket drag bike!

You going to fit a wheelie bar on it? Also why not swap the swingarm for the standard to get a 240 or 250 on the back? A super grippy car tire should be just as spicey as a dragmax. Something like the Nitto Nt555rii 245/50R16 for straightline performance (it is a drag racer after all).

The angle on swing arm and drive are different on the 240 frames and a 240 will not fit in a touring frame. Wheelie bar and fat tire is a nitro, pro stock big horse power thing, Grudge style racers predominantly run a 190 size rear, bagger drag racers all run a 190 no bar.

Touring are so long and heavy wheelying isn't an issue. I usually can't even pick the front end off the ground unless I have a passenger behind me, but then it will hold the front end about 6" off the ground through first and second gear, sets back down around 105 mph. I've gotten many kidney punches from doing it, too.
